Seeing as November would be Xbox’s 20th anniversary, it would make sense for Microsoft to do something along those lines. Of course, it’s been a while since any games from those older Xbox consoles were added to that catalog of backward compatible titles, and rightly so, people have been getting antsy over the lack of activity. Game preservation is something the company has spoken of on numerous occasions, and with various original Xbox and Xbox 360 games part of their backward compatibility program on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, they’ve been putting their money where their mouth is. Of the three main platform holders, Microsoft is ahead of its competitors by miles when it comes to backward compatibility.
